[Students] Revised Regulation 26-99-01 FOR SYSTEM MEMBER DISTRIBUTION

Revisions to System Regulation 26.99.01, Student Health Insurance<http://policies.tamus.edu/26-99-01.pdf>, were approved by the Chancellor, effective October 8, 2015.  Below is a brief summary of the revisions.

Revisions to this regulation:


  *   Clarify the definition of an international student for the purposes of required health insurance;


  *   Clarify the process to be waived from the international student health insurance requirement; and


  *   Simplify the qualifications for a health insurance waiver.

Please distribute the revised system regulation among your staff as you deem appropriate.
