Homecoming Royalty Application

The 2015 Homecoming Royalty application is now available via ManeSync. The eligibility requirements are as follows:
• Applicant must be a full time student of Texas A&M University-Commerce.
(Undergraduate = 12 hours and graduate = 9 hours)
• Applicant must be in good standing with the University and have a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Applicant is required to have attended Texas A&M University-Commerce for at least one academic school year (two consecutive semesters).
• All applicants must present documentation of good standing from the University, this can be obtained from the Registrar’s office, located in the One Stop Shop.
• In order to be a candidate you must be nominated by a registered student organization of which you are a member.
• Single gender organizations may only nominate an individual of the gender that the organization is comprised of. If you are a part of a coed organization you may only nominate one candidate of each gender represented in that organization.
Deadline for this application is Monday, October 5th, 2015 at 5:00pm. Applications must be submitted online via this link:https://orgsync.com/24085/forms/164776, along with a Slip of Good Standing (that can be obtained at the Registrar’s Office). Location: One Stop Shop
The TAMUC One Stop Shop (OSS) is one place on campus where new and returning students may resolve issues or gain service from the Office of the Registrar, Financial Aid and Scholarship, Undergraduate Admissions, Hispanic Outreach, and/or Orientation and Prospective Student Experience. Come by the OSS and the friendly staff will direct you to the right individual and/or office to help resolve issues or gain the service.

Military Working Dog Donation Drive
Date: October 5 – 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Location: Student Center Atrium
Cost: Free!
We will be collecting donations for Military Working Dogs and their handlers working overseas. Donations may be dropped off at the table in the student center every Monday throughout the month of October from 11-1 pm or dropped off at the Ag Lounge on the first floor of the AGIT building.

Heroism in Disaster, presented by Al Roker
Date: October 6- 5:30 pm
Location: Ferguson Auditorium
Al Roker is the co-host and weather anchor of NBC’s The Today Show, and the co-host of The Weather Channel’s Wake Up with Al. Throughout the years, Roker has reported live from some of history’s worst storms and natural disasters. Roker’s book The Storm of the Century tells the inspiring true story of leadership, heroism and survival during the deadliest natural disaster in American history. Al will be speaking about leadership, the resolve of the local community to recover from immense devastation, and the overwhelming national response to the crisis by groups across the country raising funds and supplies.
