[Students] New Outside Scholarship and Fellowship Opportunities

Below you will find the newest outside scholarship opportunities we have added to the TAMUC website.  We have more than doubled the listed opportunities since July. The Dallas Women's Club is now offering the Erin Bain Jones Scholarship Program<http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitionCosts/financialAidandScholarships/scholarships/outsideScholarships/outsideScholarshipSites/dallasWomensClubScholarship.aspx> for undergraduate and graduate students.
Who is eligible?

*        U.S. citizen

*        Minimum 3.4 GPA

*        Demonstrated financial need

*        Completion of 30 semester hours

The American Association of University Women, (AAUW), has a long history of providing educational awards for graduate women. In the 2015-2016 academic year, AAUW provided more than $3.7 million in funding for more than 241 fellowships and grants to outstanding women and nonprofit organizations.  AAUW currently has several Fellowship and Grant opportunities with deadlines that are quickly approaching. Please review these opportunities, and forward this life-changing information to the graduate or potential graduate women in your lives:

*          Deadline to apply for Selected Professions Fellowships<http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitionCosts/financialAidandScholarships/scholarships/outsideScholarships/outsideScholarshipSites/AAUWSelectedProfessionsFellowship.aspx> is January 10.
