Fall grades posted and your financial aid status for the spring semester is showing in your myLEO; Financial Aid Status

Do you see a WARNING status?
A WARNING is simply a WARNING. You do not have to do anything. The reason you are on a WARNING is because you did not successfully meet the minimum financial aid standards of progress as outlined at http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitionCosts/financialAidandScholarships/satisfactory-academic-progress/default.aspx.
Your spring 2015 financial aid is still in effect. But, you need to do the best you can in the spring 2015. If you again do not meet financial aid standards of progress at the end of the spring 2015, then the Warning will change to suspension of any future financial aid.

Do you see a SUSPENSION status?
A SUSPENSION status occurs when for two semesters you did not successfully meet the minimum financial aid standards of progress as outlined at http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitionCosts/financialAidandScholarships/satisfactory-academic-progress/default.aspx.
Your spring 2015 federal and/or state financial aid will not be released. The suspension status will determine if you have any appeals remaining. To appeal the suspension you will need to submit the appropriate appeal form available at http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitionCosts/financialAidandScholarships/Forms/Appeal.aspx. If your suspension shows you exceeded the maximum time frame rule 150% rule for financial aid, you need to complete the appeal request form and also the Maximum Time Frame (150% rule)/Excessive Hour<http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/tuitionCosts/financialAidandScholarships/documents/forms/FinancialAidExcessiveHoursAppeal.pdf> form. This last form needs to be completed and signed by your academic advisor before sending both to our office.
DEADLINE FOR SPRING APPEALS IS JANUARY 23, 2015
