Becoming Socially Successful Group
Time: 10:00 AM-11:30 AM, every Wednesday
Location: Counseling Center
This is an 8 week group that will meet every Wednesday from 10AM-11:30AM.  Learn to become more comfortable and confidant in social situation.  Please contact the Counseling Center for more information no later than February 17th.

TIME TO SIGN UP FOR DANCE MARATHON!!!
Help raise money for the local Boys and Girls Club by having a team for the 2nd Annual Dance Marathon! DM will take place on March 6th from 12:00pm - 12:00am. All teams may register online by filling out a simple form to get started. You will be contacted by the Dance Marathon Committee about upcoming dates and preparations for the event.

Mane Event Preview Day- Sign Up/Volunteers
We all know personal connections make the best impression. Come help us make a positive impression on prospective students and their families at the Mane Event Preview Day on Saturday, March 7th.  Students, faculty and staff volunteers are needed to serve as greeters, attend programmatic breakout sessions, and talk with students and their families over lunch. Your presence is crucial to bringing new faces to campus.

Departments and student organizations are encouraged to sign up to participate in the Department & Student Activities Showcase from 12:30 p.m.  2 p.m. in the Rayburn Student Center Conference Rooms. To register your group for a table at the showcase or for more information about volunteering at Mane Event, e-mail Kelly.Smith at tamuc.edu<mailto:Kelly.Smith at tamuc.edu>.

All A&M-Commerce students are invited to attend the Lion Student Forum.  Come and meet with Dr. Mary Hendrix, Vice President for Student Access & Success, and other University administrators to discuss ideas, ask questions, and voice concerns. FREE POPCORN!

A Moment At Mardi Gras
Time: 12:00 PM-1:30 PM
Location: Rayburn Student Center Traditions
Cost: $27, $50 and $200 (see more info below)
The Leadership Engagement &amp; Development department will be hosting Travel with a Purpose, an Alternative Spring Break service trip in which we are taking 16 of our top student leaders to New Orleans, Louisiana to participate in 3 days of service, while they emerge themselves in the rich culture of the area.

In an effort to assist in fundraising for the trip, on February 17th, at 12:00pm the Travel with a Purpose group will host A Moment at Mardi Gras, a Cajun style luncheon filled with the sounds of New Orleans that will make you believe you stepped right into the French Quarters.
To encourage participation, the Travel with a Purpose group has created several package options that offer a variety of participation in the event. We are asking that your organization/department consider one of the following:

Individual Tickets- $27.00
Reserve your seat for the event.
Organizational Ticket- $50.00
Reserve two seats for two members of your organization to be selected at your discretion.
Table Sponsorship- $200.00
Reserve an entire table for 8 guests to be selected at your discretion. Special recognition during the luncheon and a token of appreciation is included with this sponsorship.

(Please inform us of any food allergies that you may have.)

Please note that all money is due by February 15th. Please stop by the L.E.A.D. Suit to make payments. All checks should be made out to the Leadership Engagement & Development Department.

Career Clinic
Time: 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM
Location: RSC (Second Floor-Conf. A,B,C)
Cost: FREE!!!!!
The Career Clinic is a round-robin, stationed event where students can prepare for the career fair. We will have our career closet set up, a resume review booth, mock interview stations, and a professional LinkedIn photo booth. Students will attend to prepare for the upcoming career fair and be ready with their elevator pitches, resumes, and interview skills.
