[Students] Financial Aid Students: Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress: Friendly Reminder!

Good morning:

As this fall 2015 semester finals are coming to a close and you get ready for a much needed winter break, this is a gentle and friendly reminder that our office will check grades for the fall 2015 semester.

We will be checking all of the following items:
·         Your end of semester GPA
·         Your institutional cumulative GPA
·         The number of hours attempted vs. the number of hours completed
·         Overall length of time you are taking to complete the degree.

This process will begin the last few days before we close for winter break and your myLEO financial aid status will be updated. When this process is complete, an email will be sent to your myLEO account; Subject Line: Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress Is Updated.

Remember, the Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements are on our financial aid web site at http://www.tamuc.edu/financialaid. Look for the 14th TAB from the top, left-hand side, labeled Satisfactory Progress
