[Students] FW: The East Texan

[Sheri Humphries]

The student newspaper The East Texan has a new look, new online presence and new visibility and availability on campus.

The printed version of The East is available via news racks inside buildings on campus plus, beginning this weekend, there will newspaper kiosks located at key areas around campus. These kiosks will be distribution locations for The East Texan each week. Kiosks are being installed on campus today (Friday).

Also, take a look at the new and expanded web site of The East Texan --- tamuceasttexan.com. An exciting feature is the addition of photo slideshows and video of campus events and activities. Currently on the site are slideshows spotlighting the football game at AT&T Stadium including football action, cheerleaders, dance team, fans in the stands and the marching band, plus more.

Video featuring the football game, the marching band and video from salsa night on campus are also included.

In addition to the printed newspaper distributed on campus and the web site, now available at ISSUU.com/tamuc.easttexan are the printed versions in digital format. This will serve as an archive of published issues.

The student magazine The Special is also now available online at ISSUU.com/thespecial. The Special features articles and photos of students and campus activities.
