Monthly Scheduled Outage Alert
What is happening?
There will be regular scheduled maintenance outages to conduct routine maintenances and security updates.
What is happening on Saturday evening?
Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m. Central Time
The following applications services will be impacted by a planned network outage:
Classroom and Lab Technology
* Lab Technologies that require Network Licenses
* Pharos printing
* Remote Access to Library Databases
* Virtual Desktop Environments
Enterprise Applications
* Banner
* Banner SSB/INB
* Cascade
* DegreeWorks
* Email System
* EMS - Event Management System
* Lioncard
* MyLEO Portal
* StarRez
* Touchnet
File Sharing Services
Internet Access - will be affected for 10 minutes from 6:30pm - 6:40pm
Network
* Building Network - 10 minute outage between 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm for the following buildings: OneStopShop, Henderson 3rd Floor, Social Science Level 1, Field House
* Wireless Network - 30 minutes between 7:00pm and 8:00pm
Remote Desktop Services - E2
Telephone
* Long Distance Phone Calls - will be affected from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Saturday, September 20

Why is it Happening?
This is a regular scheduled maintenance to perform critical security and maintenance updates.
