Texas A&M University-Commerce has partnered with Higher One(r)
<http://higherone.com>  to deliver financial aid refunds to you more
quickly and conveniently. A green Higher One envelope with more
information is on its way to your current address. Inside you will also
find your new Pride Choice Card. When you go online to
PrideChoiceCard.com, you will use your card number to choose the best
refund delivery method for you-a direct deposit to your existing bank
account, a paper check or a Higher One banking account with numerous
benefits:

 

-          Refunds are available on the same day as they are delivered
from A&M-Commerce.

-          Any A&M-Commerce student can open a Higher One account and
receive refunds in it.

-          The Pride Choice Card can be used as a debit card or as a
swipe-and-sign "credit" card.

-          The OneAccount has no minimum balance and no monthly fee for
students.

-          A cash back program, online bill pay, and financial literacy
information is available.

                                                         

With the switch to Higher One, the refund process is as simple and fast
as it should be, and it allows you, our student, access to check the
status of their refunds online, through a mobile app or texts, or by
phone at any time. 

 

Texas A&M University-Commerce understands and is sensitive to your
concerns regarding the HigherOne(r) debit card such as credit card vs
debit card, possible fees, and replacements. Just know that using the
Higher One debit card and banking account is only 1 of 3 ways to receive
your refund.
