Recently during the Spring Assembly, President, Dr. Dan Jones mentioned
the development of a comprehensive University Strategic Plan for
Diversity. Over the next several weeks, Dr. Edward Romero, Chief
Diversity Officer will be conducting open-forum presentations on campus.
The purpose of the presentations is to help faculty, staff, and
students, better understand the process in the months ahead as we embark
on developing a university-wide diversity plan.
Students are encouraged to attend an open-forum this evening to better
understand the process. In addition, Dr. Romero will be conducting
outreach programs with constituent groups across campus this spring, as
well as organizing a campus climate assessment to help establish
diversity benchmarks. Your input and engagement is encouraged
throughout the process.
