Scheduled Phone Outage Alert
What is happening?
Texas A&M University - Commerce is changing local phone service providers Thursday, December 18th.  During this event, the change will affect incoming and outgoing phone calls, credit card and Lioncard transactions from participating off-campus merchants and voicemail service.

When is it happening?
Thursday, December 18th from approximately 5 PM - 7 PM

Services/Applications Impacted:

*         Incoming and Outgoing Phone calls

*         Voicemail

*         Calls in process (ringing, etc) may be disrupted

*         Credit Card Processing (that uses a phone line)

*         Lioncard transactions from participating off-campus merchants

*         Incoming calls to the CITE helpdesk
Why is it happening?
A change in service providers

Services Not Impacted:
Internet, Banner, eCollege, Touchnet and WebFocus Services will not be impacted.  The only services impacted would be services tied to a phone line.

What you need to do:
If you experience other technical problems after 7 PM CST, please contact the IT Support Center at 903-468-6000 or Helpdesk at tamuc.edu<mailto:Helpdesk at tamuc.edu>.
If you experience eCollege technical problems, contact the eCollege helpdesk at 1-866-656-5511 or helpdesk at online.tamuc.org.
