If you are a returning student this school year, then you will notice
that the Extraordinary Leadership Series has a new look! What is the
other good news? Well, just like the updated co-brand, the Extraordinary
Leadership Series is excited to announce 8 brand new and exciting
leadership programs for the upcoming year.

Leadership Engagement & Development (L.E.A.D.) invites you to take part
in these life-changing leadership experiences. You can head to our
website (www.tamuc.edu/LEAD/ELS) for a full schedule of the programs,
but you can rest assured that we are offering you the chance to hear
from some engaging speakers, take part in workshops that will transform
your perspective, and take trips off campus to broaden your cultural
horizons. Plus, if you attend 4 of the 8 events, you will be part of a
select group of students who will get invited to a final banquet at the
end of the year!

The first E.L.S. program, "Connect: Communicate" is a workshop presented
by Rick Miller

insight on how to effectively speak to audiences and also how to utilize
the power of non-verbal communication. Does this sound like something
you are interested in? Registration for Connect: Communicate closes on
September 18th on the Extraordinary Leadership Series page of our
website (www.tamuc.edu/LEAD <http://www.tamuc.edu/LEAD> /ELS). Hurry
though... there are only 25 more spots available!
