[Students] Financial Aid News Report: Preparing for the 2014-2015 Financial Aid Year

The Department of Education is readying for the 2014-2015 FAFSA cycle. 

What will occur: The Department of Education will send reminder emails
to 2013-2014 FAFSA applicants that they need to complete the 2014-2015
FAFSA.

Who will receive reminder emails: 2013-2014 FAFSA applicants whose name,
date of birth and social security number on the 2013-2014 FAFSA match
with the Social Security Administration.

When will it occur: Between January 16th and January 22nd, 2014 the
Department of Education will send reminder emails to 2013-2014 FAFSA
applicants.

What should you do: Check your 2013-2014 FAFSA at http://fafsa.gov and
make sure you have the most up-to-date email address on your 2013-2014
FAFSA. This is the email address that the Department of Education will
use to send you a reminder notice
