Financial aid applicants: This is the perfect time of the year to review
the Financial Aid Standards of Academic Progress available on the
financial aid & scholarships web site. This can be found in two areas of
our web site; directly on the home page right under the Financial Aid
TAB and in its original location; Financial Aid/Awarding Financial Aid
Tab.
Financial aid applicants need to meet a minimum GPA at the end of the
term, a minimum institutional cumulative GPA, and complete a minimum
number of credit hours based on the attempted hours for the semester.
The 1st time financial aid applicants do not meet the minimum
requirements at the end of the semester will be sent a Warning.
The 2nd time financial aid applicants do not meet the minimum
requirements at the end of the next semester will be sent a Suspension
notice.
EXCEPTION to the Warning:
Financial aid applicants who withdraw totally or receive all F grades at
the end of the semester will automatically be placed on suspension.
Students can see their financial aid status through the financial aid
section of their myLEO.

Certain Scholarships and State Grants:
Specific requirements are needed to be met for certain student financial
resources; scholarships and certain state grants for instance. The Terms
and Conditions section of the financial aid section of the myLEO account
will indicate what these are based on the specific program.

Full details are available on the Financial Aid Standards of Academic
Progress on the financial aid & scholarships web site.
