[Students] Email circulating - regarding scholarship opportunity

[Maria C Ramos]

This group (teachers.org) is again circulating email advertising their
scholarship.... Let the recipient beware.
The email comes from an .org domain but changes to .com domain when
accessing the link. To apply for the scholarship the person is requested
to send $5.00 (cash only to help defray mail handling, document
shredding and product costs) to a PO Box address. Legitimate scholarship
opportunities do not request payment, specially Cash, to apply. One
should never send cash in the mail. Cash is not traceable. Best to spend
the money on a nice lunch.
