Good Afternoon,

As a student of Texas A&M University - Commerce, you have many
opportunities to further your education now and after your graduation
date. The Office of Training & Development offers multiple programs that
can help you further your career and take your education to the next
level so that you stand out among your colleagues.

We would like to introduce our newest certificate program, offered in
partnership with Dalton Education - an Online Digital Media & Social
Technology Education Program. This program will teach you about
different aspects of social media and how to use it in the workplace on
a daily, weekly & monthly basis. In the courses, you will learn about
identifying the target audience, content creation, social media
marketing, email marketing, QR codes, and many other topics that are
necessary to become an expert in social media.

This program is not just for marketing, management & public relations
majors, but for anyone who is trying to use social media in a more
effective way to grow their business. This is a cutting edge program,
designed to teach the business applications of social media
communications.

The Social Media Certificate
<http://web.tamuc.edu/facultyStaffServices/trainingDevelopment/centerFor
ProfessionalDevelopment/social-media-certificate-program.aspx> program
offers a two-part online certificate - the Social Media Professional
Certificate and the Social Media Strategist Certificate. This self-paced
online program is convenient, practical, and affordable with the
flexibility to begin at a time that works best for you.

The Social Media Professional Certificate is designed for individuals
with little experience with social media, or those who are looking to
gain in-depth knowledge so they can control social media to build and
extend brand awareness, better service current customers, and leverage
social media for new customers. After completing this program,
individuals will be prepared for roles such as Social Media Specialist,
Digital Media Project Manager, or Online Community Manager. The Social
Media Professional Certificate is a stand-alone program or can be taken
as a prerequisite for those students seeking to obtain the Social Media
Strategist Certificate. The Social Media Strategist Certificate is the
program for students seeking a greater mastery of social media strategy,
organizational development, measurement, and analytics. After
completing this program, individuals will be qualified for the roles of
Social Media Strategist or Director of Digital Media.

Courses in the program include:

* Understanding Social Media

* Planning & Implementing Digital Media Campaigns

* Social Media Strategy Fundamentals and Developing a Social Strategy

* Social Media Organizational Development, Measurement and Analytics
