Mrs. Rhenda Hines has been serving this campus for 35 years. She has
three daughters and twelve grandkids. Rhenda takes pride ensuring that
the meals she presents on the line are to the highest standards, "If it
looks good...its saying something." Rhenda started her career in the
dish room and when she was asked to change to cooking, she said yes and
has been doing that ever since. Rhenda always makes sure that there is
variety on the menu, she will say, "the students just had that the other
day, and she will make sure to not duplicate too soon." She has trained
over twenty five different employees across the span of her career. She
also leads by example to her fellow family members: which there are
seven as of this year. She has Lion Pride and we are glad to have her
aboard our team.

She has designed our menu for this Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 11
am to 3 pm in the RSC Dining Room:

Rhenda's Home Cooked Fried Chicken

Red Beans Cooked with Ham Hocks over Rice

Fresh Sweet Potatoes in thick syrup

Rhenda's Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

East Texas Cornbread Dressing

Jennifer's Bread Pudding

Joycell's English Pea Salad

Come by the RSC Dining Room for a wonderfully prepared meal. It is only
$8.00 including tax. You can use your meal plan, flex, Lion's Cash,
Cash or Credit. We hope to see you there!
