First I must say "This is not an endorsement of the company but serves
as an opportunity for students to apply for scholarship funds."
HotelsCheap.org is awarding a need-based scholarship of $2,000 to
college students. Student must be residents of the United States. High
School students, undergraduate students, master degree students and
adult learners are all encouraged to apply.
Students need to complete their scholarship application and write short
essays to the following questions:
What extra-curricular activities are you involved in? Describe how these
activities contribute to your college education and how they make you a
better person.
What are your goals in life? Describe steps you will take to achieve
your goals and ambitions.
As an online travel company we appreciate well written content that
provides value for the online audience. Please write a 500 word
travel-guide style article about your favorite North American city, with
the goal of convincing tourists why they should make your chosen city
the destination of their vacation.
Do you have a special family circumstance affecting your need for
financial assistance?
Full disclosure of scholarship rules and terms, and to apply on line,
visit http://www.hotelscheap.org/scholarship/apply
Deadline is March 15, 2013.
Please note: This scholarship is legitimate but one of the terms is that
the applicant approves HotelsCheap.org to contact them via email. What
this means mostly is that the applicant agrees to receive advertising
promotions from the company. So, if you don't mind junk email
advertising, go ahead.
