Spring semester is into the 7th week and everyone is doing great in
their courses! From time to time, one can experience a small slipup
which can influence grades and completion of classes for the semester.
Grades and completion of attempted courses affect not only the term and
cumulative GPA but also affect the ability to maintain scholarships and
financial aid; grants, loans, work-study.
This is a reminder to review Financial Aid Standards of Progress to see
what is required with regards to term GPA, institutional cumulative GPA,
and the number of courses needed to be completed in the semester. The
Financial Aid Standards of Progress are available on our financial aid &
scholarships web site; http://www.tamuc.edu/financialaid . Financial Aid
TAB/ Awarding Financial Aid.
Specific grants have specific requirements and can be reviewed through
the myLEO account; Financial Aid section/Award section. Scholarship
students should review the conditions of their scholarship for what is
required to maintain their specific scholarship.
Continue to have a great spring semester and before we know it spring
break will arrive giving one a bit of R&R before continuing towards the
end of the spring.
