[Students] Sigma Tau Delta Informational Meeting on 9/20 at 3:30pm

[Kim Jefferies]

Dear Future Members,

Sigma Tau Delta is an International English Honor Society with numerous
scholarship opportunities for its members. We are the Upsilon Beta
Chapter and we are recruiting new members! Undergraduates do not have to
be majoring in English to join.

If you are an undergraduate the requirements are:

You just need to have taken two college English courses (outside of ENG
1301 & 1302), finished 3 semesters, and have minimum of a 3.0 average.

If you are a graduate student:

You must be either in a graduate English program OR specializing in an
English field, have completed at least 6 hours of graduate work, and
have a minimum GPA of 3.3.

Our first meeting will be on Thursday, September 20, at 3:30PM in the
Hall of Languages lounge. If you are curious about becoming a member or
want to apply, please join us at the meeting!

If you're not yet a member of Sigma Tau Delta yet, we'll talk about how
to join at the meeting. If you are, we'll see you there as well. Looking
forward to getting this semester off to a great start!

Best,

Rachel Cantrell - President

&
Anne Phifer - Vice President
