[Students] It's just around the corner - Commerce Lil' Angels

[Christan Hilbrand]

It is that time of the year again!

Even though the temperatures are still hot, Christmas is right around
the corner. The Commerce Kiwanis Club is gearing up for another
exciting year with Commerce Lil' Angels. Last year, we provided
presents for 532 Commerce children that might not have had a Christmas.
We cannot do this alone! We are asking for assistance again this year.
Last year, only 115 kids were adopted from our Lil' Angel trees. This
year we are encouraging everyone to pick up an Angel from our Christmas
trees located at Wal-Mart or Cypress Bank. Guaranty Bond Bank will also
have Angel cards available.

The gifts for the Angels can be returned to the Commerce Police
Department, the Commerce Chamber of Commerce, Cypress Bank or Guaranty
Bond Bank. We are also accepting monetary donations to help those Lil'
Angels that were not chosen on the tree. If you would like to
participate, please pick up an angel from one of the trees, or you can
send a monetary donation to Commerce Lil' Angels, PO Box 818, Commerce,
TX 75429.

Please help us in making sure that these children have the opportunity
to experience the joy of Christmas.
