[Students] FW: Commerce Hospital/ER Temporary Closing

The Commerce Hospital and Emergency Room will be temporarily closing today at 6 pm due to a temporary facility issue. It is estimated that it will possibly be closed for 5 to 7 days. There will be a doctor at the hospital until 6 pm today but they will not be admitting patients. If you have an emergency that requires immediate medical attention please call 9 1 1 so that an ambulance and the fire department can be dispatched to your location and provide emergency medical care and transport you to a hospital. If the medical issue does not require an ambulance or fire department attention but you still need the care of an emergency room please go directly to one of the surrounding hospitals in the area. For additional information please look in the Greenville Herald Banner and Commerce Journal newspapers, on the Greenville Herald Banner website or Facebook page or listen to the local news reports on the local radio stations. When the Commerce Hospital and Emergency Room reopen a nother alert will be sent out to notify you of the reopening.
