[Students] Student Healthcare and Outreach Society (SHOS) Meeting and Officer Elections

This is a reminder that the Student Healthcare and Outreach Society will be
having a meeting this Thursday, October 18th at 7PM. We will have officer
elections at this meeting. Available positions include President, Vice
President, Treasurer, Secretary, Historian, and Events Specialist. If you
would like to run for an office please prepare a short statement as to why
you believe you are qualified for the position. I strongly encourage
members to run because it is a great leadership experience, not to mention,
a great accomplishment to put on your resume. We will be meeting in room
123 of the Science building.



This organization is oriented towards those who have an interest in the
healthcare field.


As a SHOS member, you will have the opportunity to:

- Gain experience and insight into medical facilities

- Become a leader and run for officer positions

- Volunteer and earn community service hours at different events

- Network and meet people who have the similar interests

- Attend medical-related seminars
