[Students] Toys for Tots drive with the SVA

[Jill Mobley]

The Student Veteran Association has become an official Toys for Tots
drop location for Hunt County! Toys for Tots is a non-profit program run
by the United States Marine Corps Reserve
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Marine_Corps_Reserve> which
distributes toys <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toy> to children whose
parents cannot afford to buy them gifts for Christmas
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas> .

Beginning Wednesday, November 28th, there will be drop boxes for toys in
the One Stop Shop (additional locations coming soon)! We will collect
toys until 5:00 PM on Monday, December 17th. While you are out doing
your holiday shopping, please remember those less fortunate and pick up
a toy for a needy child.

For more information on the Toys for Tots program, please visit their
website at toysfortots.org. Any questions on the SVA involvement in the
Toys for Tots program should be sent to Jill Mobley at sva at tamuc.edu or
by phone at 903-468-8174.

Thank you for your generosity!
