[Students] IT Server Reconfiguration

Good Afternoon:

 

IT Infrastructure has identified the need to increase disk space on one
of the servers for AD (Active Directory) to complete a key software
installation for a campus-wide project.  During this process, web
browsing and accessing services via the web could potentially be
slightly slower (take an additional 1-2 seconds).  There should NOT be
an outage during the reconfiguration. 

 

After consulting with the user's advocates, the reconfiguration has been
scheduled for Wednesday, March 14th, from 5:15 - 5:45 PM.  The campuses
affected are as follows:  Commerce, Mesquite, Midlothian, Navarro and
UCD.  Internet services for Residential Living and Learning will not be
affected.  Additionally, email should not be affected.
