Help Us Design Our Safe Spaces-Ally Logo!!

Who:         Students, Faculty, Staff of Texas A&M University-Commerce  

What:        We need your help designing our Safe Spaces-Ally Logo for Texas A&M University- Commerce. Safe Spaces-Ally program is a nationwide program across colleges, schools, and businesses which seeks to make the school and work environment safe for and respectful of Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Transgender, Queer/Questioning individuals (LGBTQ).

Why:         We need a logo that represents Texas A&M University-Commerce and our Safe Spaces-Ally program. (You can Google images of safe zone/safe spaces/ally stickers from other universities such as TCU, SMU, UNT, UT Arlington, UT Texas, etc., for ideas). The logo will be used on correspondence, on stickers and placards, on certificates, and on our website.

When:        We need it as soon as possible - but the deadline for submitting your logo design is January 27, 2012, 5 p.m.

Where:       Send it to the Safe Spaces website: Safe_Spaces at tamu-commerce.edu <mailto:Safe_Spaces at tamu-commerce.edu> 

How:         Design a logo that represents both Commerce and the LGBT population. 

Rules:       1. Design a 4x4 logo

                                         2. No graphic representations of sexual content

                                         3. Needs to represent both TAMU-Commerce and LGBT population

                                         4. Cannot have TAMU-Commerce official logo or outline of official LOGO included

                                         5. Can have a lion, but not TAMU-Commerce lion or outline of TAMU-Commerce lion

                                         6. Can be in PDF or gif format

Prize:         Have your logo design forever be a part of the Texas A&M University-Commerce Safe Spaces-Ally Program; fame and glory; accolades; praise
