REMINDER

Drops now require Instructor approval to drop a class. If you do not
have any holds, you may go on to

your MyLeo (Main Page) to the "Drop A Class" option. The request will
be sent to your Instructor and a confirmation will be sent to you once
the process is complete. A "Q" drop grade will be posted, but will not

affect your GPA.

Students with any types of holds will need to process a Drop/Add form
manually. The Drop/Add form is located under the Registrar's website
at:
http://web.tamu-commerce.edu/admissions/registrar/documents/AddDropForm.
pdf.

*The deadline to drop a class and receive a full refund has passed,

unless it is a sub-term class that has not begun yet.

What is the difference between a "Drop" and a "Withdrawal"?

A "drop" is dropping a single class, but remaining enrolled in at least
one other class. A "withdrawal" is when you are only enrolled in one
class (or many classes) and need to get out of the semester entirely.

*If you are only in one class (or need to drop all of your classes for
the semester), you must process a "Withdrawal" Form. These forms need
to be turned in to the Registrar's Office for manual processing.
Confirmations for withdrawals can be verified through your MyLeo (under
Registration History). Withdrawals will be processed with the date they
are received in the Registrar's Office. Withdrawal forms can be found
online at:
http://web.tamu-commerce.edu/admissions/registrar/forms/default.aspx.

Please contact the Registrar's Office at 903-886-5070 for any questions
concerning dropping or withdrawing.
