[Students] Sign up now: National Registry of Undergraduate Researchers

[Thomas J. Faulkenberry]

Dear undergraduate students,

For those of you who are planning to go to graduate school and who have been
involved in a faculty-sponsored research project while an undergraduate here
on campus, there is an opportunity for you to market yourself to prospective
graduate schools.

The Council on Undergraduate Research maintains a Registry of Undergraduate
Researchers, which is to help facilitate matchmaking between undergraduates
with research experience and graduate schools seeking students who are
well-prepared for research. The registry is open to all fields of inquiry.

To register, simply go to https://www.cur.org/ugreg/reg1.asp and fill out a
simple curriculum vitae form. There is no charge for this service.

Be sure to include a statement of your research interests, as this is one of
the important parts of the matchmaking process. Graduate schools can then
access this information and directly contact you!

Please directly contact me if you have any questions. The Center for
Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity is here to help you with any
aspect concerning your research experience or graduate school.

Sincerely,

Thomas J. Faulkenberry, Ph.D.
