Dear students,
If you are interested in learning how to do research in mathematical cognition, please consider signing up for PSY 489: Mathematical Cognition. The course meets in Summer II Monday-Thursday at 9:30-11:30 am. Students from a wide variety of majors can gain something from the course, especially those interested in the behavioral sciences. There is no formal prerequisite, but basic familiarity with the topics encountered in an intro psych course will be assumed.
The course will be writing intensive and will involve lots of hands-on work conducting and designing experiments. Students completing the course will gain the necessary background to conduct original research in the field.
