[Students] Relay For Life 2011

The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life event is a great and rich
tradition at Texas A&M University-Commerce. The 2011 event marks our 8th
anniversary!

 

This Monday, February 14th from 12:00pm - 5:00pm there will be a Relay
For Life Information Booth set up in the 1st floor atrium of the Sam
Rayburn Student Center.

Please stop by and get any and all of your Relay questions answered.
Executive Committee members will be available to assist you with the
following:

 

*         Pick up registration materials and sign up your organization,
club, department, or just your friends/family to have a team at this
year's event. This is a great team bonding experience and you will have
a great time as we raise funds and awareness!

*         Get the latest information about our Team Captain meetings and
team workshops.

*         Purchase a Luminaria to be lit "In Honor" or "In Memory" of a
loved one during the Luminaria Candlelight Ceremony the night of Relay.

*         If you are a cancer survivor or currently battling cancer,
stop by and learn how the ACS and Relay For Life wants to celebrate and
recognize you. You can also learn about our many patient services.

*         Just stop by and find out how you can volunteer and make a
difference in the fight  against cancer!

 

We look forward to meeting you and sharing what a great event the Relay
For Life at Texas A&M-Commerce really is!

 

Also, PLEASE mark your calendar. The 2011 Relay For Life has been set
for Friday April 15-Saturday April 16, 2011.
