[Students] Don't Mess with Texas Trash-Off Volunteer Opportunity

[Luis Franco]

Do you need some community service hours? Have nothing to do this
weekend? Want to do something positive for your community and the
environment?

Here is your chance!

The Don't Mess with Texas Trash-Off is the single largest one day
cleanup event in the state and serves as Texas' signature event for the
Great American Cleanup, the nation's largest community improvement
program, held annually from March 1 through May 31.

The LULAC chapter at Texas A&M University-Commerce will be heading out
tomorrow morning to pick up litter and help clean up a section of
Highway 50 (highway most visitors, students and folks coming to our
campus get to see!!) and invites anyone interested in helping out to
join us. You DO NOT have to be a member to participate, just let us know
you want to help and join the effort.
