SUBJECT: Homecoming Week Events

Homecoming 2010 - "Lion's Paradise," is quickly approaching, so mark your calendars for the festivities. Homecoming is scheduled for the week of October 18-23 with the culmination being Saturday, October 23. As an organization, we welcome you to plan activities during this time. Historically, student organizations plan receptions and activities for their visiting alumni. This year we will be directing all alumni to the University Website to notify them of all Homecoming events. All events will be listed and we will have the capability to update the schedule regularly. We encourage your department to plan early and notify Alumni Relations of any changes. As usual, we are asking for you to do the following:

¨ Decide if your organization would like to host a reception, breakfast, etc., for alumni.

¨ Make arrangements, through Scheduling for a location (5809).

¨ Make arrangements, through Sodexho for the refreshments or meal (4890).

¨ Return the attached form to the Alumni Center or by email to

Stephanie_Fiorisi at tamu-commerce.edu. The last change to the website will
occur October 15.

Remember that Tailgate events will begin at 11:00 a.m. and the football game at 2:00 p.m. You may want to avoid planning functions between 11:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. because of these events.

Keep an eye out for more details on the Window/Banner/Door contest and all of the other events during Homecoming week!

If you have any questions about Homecoming, please contact Stephanie Fiorisi at 903-468-3085.
