[Students] PDK's fall meeting and guest speaker

Graduate Students:




Chapter 101 of Phi Delta Kappa is announcing its fall meeting on Tuesday December 7 at 6:30 PM.  The meeting will be held in the Leadership room of the Metroplex in Mesquite.  

The featured speaker is Mavis Knight, member of the State Board of Education.

She will address the role of the SBOE and highlight the Social Studies Standards.  Mavis will also address some of the more controversial issues in recent past.  

There will be an induction ceremony for those wishing to join PDK for the first time.  Consider bringing a colleague to share in the advantages of membership in PDK.   We hope to see you there.  

Light refreshments will be served.
