[Students] Playhouses Upcoming Play Scapin tickets for sale

[hstone]

The University Playhouse proudly presents Scams of Scapin,
by the 17th Century French playwright, Moliere, April 29-May
1 at 8:00 PM and May 2, at 3:00 PM. Performances are in the
Studio Theatre, located in the Performing Arts Center.

The modern adaptation of this rollicking farce is by Albert
Bermel. “Audiences can expect a fast-paced slapstick
comedy, with lots of audience interaction,” said director,
Holly Stone.

The intertwining plot lines involve young love, and the
complications become ever more complicated and hilarious
once the scheming, mischievous Scapin gets involved.

Tickets are $3.00 for students, $8.00 for senior citizens
and $10.00 for non-student adults. Seating is very limited
and the play will run one weekend only, so patrons are urged
to make reservations as soon as possible. For reservations
and information, call 903.886.5900, or, e-mail
playhouseboxoffice at tamu-commerce.edu

Scams of Scapin is a delightful evening for the whole
family, but it won’t be around for long, so reserve your
seats soon!
