Scams of Scapin Auditions at the University Playhouse

Auditions for the Texas A&M University-Commerce productions
of "Scams of Scapin” will be in the Black Box (PAC 126)
Stage from 7 to 10 p.m. March 8 and 9, 2010.

Actors will be auditioning for 11 roles (10 written and a
House Manger role that needs some House management skills as
well as improvisational skills). Gender and color blind
casting will be employed.

Scripts for the play are available for 48-hour checkout in
Room 101 of the Theatre Department office in PAC. It is
highly suggested that you read the script beforehand. If you
do not return the script by the last night of auditions we
will not be able to cast you until you get it turned in.

Auditions are open to students, faculty, and staff and those
in the community. Individuals wishing to audition may want
to read the script because the audition will be
cold-readings and movement exercise (please wear clothing
that you can move in).

"Scams of Scapin," is written by Moliere and adapted by
Albert Bermel and will be directed by A&M-Commerce theatre
Graduate Student/Teaching Assistant Holly, will be presented
April 29-May 2.
