CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS 

American Studies Association of Texas

November 4-6, 2010

Texas A&M University-Commerce

AMERICA AND THE WORLD

 

 

Presentations and panels are solicited for the annual meeting of the
American Studies Association of Texas to be held at Texas A&M
University-Commerce on November 4 through 6, 2010. We especially welcome
presentations dealing with America and American studies in a global or
international context. As usual, we also welcome presentations dealing
with any aspect of American studies.

 

Presentations should be no more than 20 minutes long. Panels should
involve 3 or 4 presentations of no more than 20 minutes each.

 

Send 100-word abstracts of presentation proposals or 100-word
descriptions of panel proposals to

author of the Latino Trilogy (Crowding Out Latinos, Latino Sun Rising,
Quality Education for Latinos and Latinas) and Youth and Age in American
Literature.

Conference fees: $35 for faculty, $25 for students.

 

Grants of $50.00 are available for students who present papers.
