Fellow Students,

Your SGA representatives are sponsoring a drive to collect
donations with which to purchase cloth diapers and baby
formula for an orphanage just outside of Port au Prince,
Haiti. Look around for a student wearing a diaper and
carrying a large milk bottle - these are our wonderful
volunteers around campus who will take your donations.

We received a request for assistance from this orphanage,
which is a 501c-3 - or not for profit organization. Since
the devastating earthquakes that occurred in Haiti, the
orphanage has seen their infant and small children head
count double. They are also receiving mothers who have just
given birth, since these women have no acceptable home to
bring their newborns to. The orphanage is struggling, and
needs help to provide the services these infants and small
children need.

They have asked for cloth diapers rather than disposables,
since there is no trash pickup in the area at this time, as
well as the cans of powdered baby formula (Isomil, Similac,
etc.). Please consider donating funds. If you would like
to purchase diapers or formula on your own, you can drop
them off at the SGA office in the Synergy Lab, 2nd Floor of
the SRSC.

The funds collected will be used to purchase diapers and
formula which will then be shipped over to the orphanage.

PLEASE DONATE!

Thank you.
