[Students] FW: Mayo Review Launch Party 4-22 at 6pm

[Kim Jefferies]

The editorial staff and faculty board of The Mayo Review, the
creative-arts publication of the Department of Literature and Languages,
will be hosting a launch party in celebration of the release of the
Spring 2010 edition at The Club in the Sam Rayburn Student Center
Thursday, April 22, at 6:00pm. Admission is free.

The festivities will include readings from the always humorous
professor-poets, Dr. Salvatore Attardo and Dr. Kathryn Jacobs, as well
as several contributors to this year's Review. An open mic, in which
attendees are free to share their artistic work-poetry, short fiction,
music, and even dance-will follow, and refreshments will be provided!

And, of course, copies of The Mayo Review will be available for
purchase: $10.00 for the new edition and $5.00 for last year's edition.

Students and members of the public are encouraged to attend.
