AMERICAN MOSAIC:
CLASSIC CHAMBER THEATRE TALES
Conceived, Adapted, and Arranged by John Hanners
Chamber Theatre brings short stories and novels to life
through actors, dialogue and staging. A story's narrator
transforms into a character played by actors.
Unlike traditional theatre, the action of the play takes
place in the audience, not on the stage. This vivid
theatrical style pulls a spectator into the life of the
characters and the audience and the actor create the story
together.
AMERICAN MOSAIC, dramatizes the following stories:
"The Waltz," Dorothy Parker, "Boo Hag: An East Texas
Folktale," S.E.,
"Q: A Psychic Pstory of the Psupernatural," Stephen
Leacock, "The Woman Who Turned into a Fish," Nin Andrews-the
, "The Death of the Hired Man," Robert
Frost, "Love is a Fallacy," Max Shulman-Shulman's
AMERICAN MOSAIC was written with the high school and college
