[Students] Commerce Week on Writing, Day 3!

[Shannon Carter]

The first two day of the Commerce Week on Writing really highlight the important role writing plays here in our town and across our campus.

Halls of Poetry (Monday) was well attended and well received! If you weren't able to attend, you can still experience the fun! Sunchai Hamcumpai has created a video preview, which you can view at http://convergingliteraciescenter.wordpress.com/reviewing-cwow-photos-video-reviews/

Reviews and responses to series of events Tuesday can be found at the same url. We hope others will share their experiences as well! It was another wonderful day, beginning with the panel "Writing Local History" (organized by Dr. Jim Conrad). This event was PACKED with an eager audience, including everyone from first-year students to graduate students to faculty to the President Jones himself!

NCoW Theater (film festival) was well received and well attended, as was the fabulous memoir workshop led by Dr. Fred Tarpley and hosted by the Writing Center.

Today, we have another series of excellent activities planned. Please join us for Day 3 of the Commerce Week on Writing!
