[Students] Texas A&M-Commerce Tailgate Party-September 6

Are you ready for some football?
 
The excitement of football will be in the air as Texas A&M
University-Commerce alumni, students and friends build spirit for the
Lion's team as they meet at the first tailgate party of the season on
Saturday, Sept. 6.  
 
The fun begins at 4 p.m. on the West Lawn of the Sam Rayburn Memorial
Student Center before the Lions kick off their home opener with Angelo
State at 7 p.m. in Memorial Stadium.
 
For the first home game Campus Dining will offer hamburger and hot dogs
with all the trimmings for $7.50 to be served on the West Lawn under the
blue and gold tent.  Students will be served their dining plan meal on
the lawn.  Campus Dining will accept meal plans, cash and Lion cash.  Be
there at 5 p.m. to cheer on the team as they walk to the stadium.  
 
Breakout Entertainment will be sponsoring Euro-Bungee and handing out
spirit sticks.  The Ben E. Keith stage will be set up and there will be
a live band performing beginning at 4:00 p.m.
 
Departments wishing to pick up Tailgate meal tickets to give out to
alumni or special guests will need to contact Deanna Holcomb in
Financial Services at ext. 5054.  Tickets are $7.50 each.  
 
Tailgate parties will be held three hours before every home football
game.  Come join us at Tailgate on September 20, November 1 (Homecoming)
and November 8. (Veteran's Vigil).  Also, mark your calendar for the
October 18th game at 2:00 p.m. at the Cotton Bowl.
