Commerce Christmas Parade

Thursday, December 4

7 p.m.

 

The Commerce Chamber of Commerce annual Christmas Parade will be
Thursday, December 4th at 7 p.m.  The parade will begin at the City Park
and will come through the downtown square.  Please make plans on coming
to see the parade with all the beautiful lights and decorated floats.

 

If you or your organization would like to have a float in the parade,
then please contact the Chamber Office at 903-886-3950 or go by their
office at 1114 Main Street.  There is no charge for float entries;
however, they need to know in advance of all floats entered in the
parade.  The parade will be televised by the university radio/television
department.

 

Also, the parade director, Sheri Humphries, is in need of volunteers to
help organize and line up the floats and other parade entries.  If you
would like to volunteer to help, then please call her at 903-886-5346 or
go by her office here on campus in the Performing Arts building in the
Mass Media, Communication & Theatre Office.
