[Students] Parade of Flags and Multi-Cultuiral Festival

[Joan Lawrence]

The 14th annual Multi-Cultural Festival will be Friday, April 4, 2008 from
11:30-2:00 in the American and Texas Ballroom. This is a much anticipated
annual event where you can sample food and learn about cultures from around
the world. The International Student Services office is looking for
students from foreign nations to carry their country's flag in the Parade of
Flags which will be the prelude to the festival and will start at 11:00.

There are over 40 nations represented in the student population of Texas A&M
University- Commerce, and we want every country to be represented in the
parade before the festival. If you would be interested in carrying the flag
of your country please email the Director of the ISSO at
John_Jones at tamu-commerce.edu <mailto:John_Jones at tamu-commerce.edu> by
Tuesday, March 25, 2008 so we can make arrangements for the parade. Thanks!
