[Students] Give Dr. Thompson a Mohawk

[Connie Mears]

University Community,

Panicking for that perfect Valentine gift for that special someone? The
First Year Leadership Class, along with Mayo College, is supporting Relay
for Life by offering Valentine gifts that are sure to please that special
someone in your life.

We are offering three packages for this Valentine's Day, all of which are
affordable for even the tightest pocketbook:

            Pkg 1: 'Sweet Tooth' - $2.00

A box adorned in ribbon filled with Hershey's Kisses

            Pkg 2: 'Bundle of Joy' - $5.00

Two plush, hugging bears holding a box of Hershey's Kisses & three colorful
balloons

            Pkg 3: 'Teddy Love' - $10.00

Plush bear hugging a box of chocolates & five
balloons

All of the proceeds will go to the Relay for Life organization. Relay for
Life is a national event sponsored by the American Cancer Society who is
dedicated to helping find a cure for all types of cancer. Your generous
participation in this event will help bring us closer to our goal of two
thousand dollars and one step closer to finding a cure for cancer.

As an extra incentive to participate in this charitable event, Dr. Thompson
has agreed to have his head shaved into a Mohawk, if the goal of $2,000.00
is met.

Order forms may be found in the Campus Activities Office, MSC-202, where
they can also be dropped off. For your convenience we have attached an
order form. Delivery of your order will be on Valentine's Day to your
specified location.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Connie Mears at

Thank you for your participation!

but to elicit it, for the greatness is there already."
