Lions host Central Oklahoma on Saturday, February 9 at 2 and 4 p.m.

 

2006-07 Women's Basketball Team to be Honored at Halftime of the Men's Game

 

The A&M-Commerce men's and women's basketball teams play host to Lone Star
Conference North Division rival, Central Oklahoma, on Saturday at the
A&M-Commerce Field House at 2 and 4 p.m.

 

Halftime of the men's game will feature the women's basketball banner
unveiling ceremony, which will honor the 2006-07 women's basketball team
that qualified for the Elite Eight, won the Lone Star Conference and South
Central Regional titles and set 40 school records en route to the most
successful season in the history of the women's basketball program at
A&M-Commerce.  Come out and support the most historic season in the 36-year
history of the A&M-Commerce women's basketball program.

 

The men and women enter Saturday's games following decisive victories over
Cameron on Wednesday evening in Lawton, Oklahoma.  Junior guard Britney
Jordan and senior forward Scooby Johnson each recorded over 30 points to
lead their teams to victory.

 

In 2007-08 the Lions are On the Prowl!  Be a Part of the Pride!
