[Students] Legacy Scholarships Available

This is a reminder that the 2008-2009 application deadline for the Alumni
Association Legacy Scholarship is due March 1.
 
To be eligible for any of these Alumni Association scholarships, the student
must have a parent or grandparent who graduated from the university.
Commerce area students may also have a sister, brother, aunt, or uncle who
is a graduate of Texas A&M-Commerce.  Recipients will be contacted by August
1. The amounts of the scholarships are $500 (Commerce Chapter is $1,000),
with half being dispersed each semester of the award year. Students must
maintain a 3.0 GPA and be registered for 12 undergraduate credit hours or 9
graduate credit hours.  
 
To be considered for a Legacy Scholarship, please complete the following and
return to Alumni Relations, Memorial Student Center, and Room 120. (Mailing
address is Alumni Relations, PO Box 3011, Commerce, TX, 75429.) Completed
application materials are due by March 1.
