RE:       Picnic Thursday, October 11, 2007 to Celebrate Enrollment Increase

 

In order to express my appreciation for all of the hard work that has been
done to increase our enrollment, I wish to invite all faculty, staff and
students to a picnic on Thursday, October 11, 2007, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00
p.m. in the circle on the East Lawn of the MSC.   Our fall enrollment has
gone over the 9,000 mark-the highest it has been since 1978-and each of you
has played a part in reaching this goal!  Please join the university
administration as we serve you in appreciation of your dedicated service to
your university and to commemorate this exciting milestone.  Free tickets
will be provided to each department for faculty, staff and graduate and
teaching assistants, and students on the meal plan will be able to use their
meal tickets.  All other students can pick up a ticket at the picnic.  In
the event of rain, the event will be held in the American and Texas
Ballrooms.  (THE CAFETERIA WILL BE CLOSED FOR LUNCH THAT DAY)

 

Come join the festivities on Thursday, October 11th any time between 11:30
and 1:00!
