Greetings, 

Carter Bloodcare will be on campus this Tuesday (Sept. 11)
through Thursday (Sept. 13) accepting blood donations in
their big blue-green donor coach.  The drive will take place
between the MSC and Student Services Bldg (near the ATM)
from 10:00am-4:00pm each day.  

BLOOD DONORS SAVE LIVES.  IT'S THAT SIMPLE, THAT IMPORTANT

FREE Cholesterol Test & T-SHIRT!!!


In an effort to prepare yourself for a healthy and
comfortable donation experience, please note the following
tips:

* Eat a low-fat meal within four hours before giving

* Drink lots of water or juice before and after donating.
Avoid alcoholic beverages for 12 hours before     and after
donating.


Cold/Flu/Don't feel well:  One day symptom free.  Deferred
until feeling well and healthy.

Pregnancy:  Ok to donate six weeks after end of pregnancy.

Earlobe Piercing:  OK to donate, if performed with a
single-use device.  If not, wait one year.

Body and Cartilage Piercing: OK to donate, if performed at a
Texas state-licensed facility.  If not, wait one year.

Tattoo:  OK to donate, if performed at a Texas
state-licensed facility.  If not, wait one year.
