To all Accounting, Finance, and MIS majors, including MBA
students with minors in these fields,
Beta Alpha Psi would like to invite all accounting, finance,
and MIS majors to attend either of the two informational
meetings on Monday, September 10th and Tuesday, September
11th in the boardroom, BA 218. We would like the opportunity
to tell you about our organization and the benefits of
membership.
Beta Alpha Psi is a national scholastic and professional
financial information honors fraternity. The primary
objective of the fraternity is to encourage and give
recognition to scholastic and professional excellence in the
fields of accounting, finance, and management information
systems. This includes promoting the study and practice of
these fields, providing opportunities for self-development
and association among members and practicing professionals,
and encouraging a sense of ethical, social, and public
responsibility.
The Zeta Epsilon Chapter, here at TAMU-C, provides the
opportunity to gain insight from interesting speakers, most
of whom are in the professions we plan to enter, as well as,
increased scholarship opportunities, and the chance to form
life long friendships. Through the organization, members
gain leadership skills as well as the opportunity to network
with potential employers and other chapters across the
nation and now internationally.
If you are unable to attend this meeting and would like
further information regarding Beta Alpha Psi, please email
me at ps8611 at gmail.com, and I will get the information in
your hands as soon as possible. I look forward to meeting
you next week, hope to see you there.
Janise Kennedy
Internal VP Zeta Epsilon Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi
