[Students] A&M-Commerce Cross Country Moves Up to No. 9 in the Latest USTFCC CA South Central Regional Poll

In Tuesday's latest United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches
Association South Central Regional poll, the Texas A&M University-Commerce
men's cross country team has moved up to No. 9 after spending the last two
weeks at No. 10.

The Lions are coming off a fourth-place finish at the Lone Star Conference
Cross Country Championships. At the meet, sophomore Tyler Tyndell earned
all-conference honors with a ninth-place finish. The Paris, Texas native
covered the 8k course at the Eddie Moore Park in Commerce in 26:13.09.

Also, in cross country news, sophomores Alfredo Soto (Elgin, Texas) and
Robert Reed (Sachse, Texas) were named to the Lone Star Conference
Commissioner Honor Roll for their academic success. To be eligible for the
Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a 3.20 cumulative grade point
average.

The next meet for A&M-Commerce is the NCAA® Division II South Central
Regional Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 3 in Joplin,
Missouri.
